A grand sleepover

I had an amazing time at my friends house on Saturday(March 29).I went to his house at around 4 pm.We thought there are only 3 people in the sleepover because only 3 had come.Then 2 others came and we played a board game waiting for the needle to strike 5,because that was when we would go outside.I like playing sports in the evening.I'm really more of a outdoor than indoor person.We played Soccer till 7:15 and came back.I could hardly think about anything but the night.We had fun for some time when we played a game called dark room which is basically hide and seek with the lights off.It was great.We played Wii,a game console.Then we had a delicious pizza which I couldn't bear looking at.Then we started eating and played dark room again when we had finished.Around 9:30,my mind's opinion started to change a lot after all my thoughts were it would start to be a little boring.Well,that was wrong.The clock's needle hadn't even reached 10,and we were having the time of our life.I thought we'd be bored and fast asleep in an hour,but no.No matter how much I spoke,no matter how much I ran,I didn't feel like sleeping.At 12 am,we made up a game and we started playing,and our ideas turned out to be a success.You must be imagining this would be like the most boring game ever,but no.If you were there,you could remember this sleepover even after 10 years.We slept at 2:30 am and woke up at 7:30.I've only explained some things,there are many things left.The conclusion is that now I am confident in saying that out of all the sleepovers I've had,this was the best.I'll give it an 11 out of 10!

What a birthday!

I finally turned 9 years old on 19th of March in which I had an unforgettable time.The theme was soccer,which has been my craze lately.I told everyone to wear jerseys and come,which turned out to be fulfilled by most of the people.I woke up at around 6:30 and saw my gifts-a harmonica,a tool which had a knife,fork and spoon connected,a football,adidas running shoes,jerseys,football socks and the Guiness world book of records 2014.I was so excited about the party I barely even thought of anything else.Me and my cousins were there at 3:50 as the party started at 4 pm.Then people started coming in.As everyone c came we played a football match which was divided alphabetically.It was a remarkably bone-chilling match but I scored the winning goal.Though it was a match with terrifying close calls,we managed to be the winner.I was extremely happy when I scored the winner.Imagine to be the birthday boy and score the winner!Therefore,we won 7-6.Then we had a penalty shootout for fun.When we reached,we had a scrumptious cake which I longed to eat.It turned out to be as if it was made in the chocolate factory in Charlie and the chocolate factory.Then I ate some pizza and garlic bread.How tempting.I lick my lips whenever I hear about that.It was a glorious feast.Then we started to play and all of us were engaged because others had got their return gifts,a football.We had a great time there.All of us were playing something or the other.Everyone was having fun,as far as I think.Not even 1 thought of bored in the birthday came in my mind.That was a top-class birthday.I opened the gifts after everyone was gone,and I got great gifts.They were better than I had expected.I don't think my memory is so bad that it would forget this staggering birthday!.

Camp Junga

In school,we have camps every year and the difficulty,staying for more time and longer drive begins as we go into bigger grades.Last time,in Grade 3,we went to a camp called Damdama which was only 1 or 2 hours away from the city.This time,we ant to a place called Junga near Shimla.We had already made our camp groups and decided about them.In my camp group,there were 9 kids,and a teacher which were ten so we called us the terrific 10.We has such a mind-numbing journey from Gurgaon to Shimla.Our camp is in Shimla.I woke up at 4'o clock in the morning and reached the place where the buses were at 5:15.First was a one-hour drive in the bus.Then we reached the Delhi railway station and got in a train called the Shatabdi.It took around 5 or 6 hours to reach there.The food which ate was like eating snails.But,I had to eat it.Then we reached Shimla.Then we took a Tempo Traveller to travel to Junga,which is in the mountains.I didn't have any motion sickness though travelling round and round.We stopped at a hotel and ate some cake,french fries and drank juice,because we were more than starving.We also ate a packet of chips when we were going after we had eaten in the hotel.We reached the campsite at 5:30,which was probably the longest journey in my life.There's no denying that this was the most boring,tiring and long travel of my life.When we reached there,we had some food which was yummy.It seemed cold and and I thought we had to wear warm clothes.I had brought a warm and normal jacket.I used the cold one for the morning and evening,and light for afternoon and night.I had to carry a rucksack for the first time,and we had to pack as light as possible.Then I was so lucky.We found out that only 6 people could sleep in 1 tent,not 10.So I got with 3 friends,which cut a huge chunk of my awesome  camp.Then we were divided into 4 groups and we named our group the Everlasting 18.We had 4 instructors.I had many friends in that,too.We played a game in which we had to give us an adjective in which it starts with the letter our name starts with.Then we had a discussion about the camp,and had soup.Then finally it was time for dinner,and it turned out delicious.The only part I didn't like was about there was non-veg and I don't like killing animals,and I'm a pure veg.Then we slept in our tents a 9:30 though we kept on talking.We woke up at 6:30.We could have biscuits,the or milk.We were the first ones to reach there.Then we did some exercises,which were called elastic limbs.Then we had breakfast at 8,which wasn't bad at all.Then we did some activities related to ropes,like the french-ship ladder,tarzan jump,commando net etc.I liked the french-ship ladder the most.We had to find a partner which had probably the same weight and we had to climb on bamboo poles attached with ropes,and it wasn't easy.We were the fastest ones to do it.After doing all of them,we had lunch.We changed into clothes after wiping ourselves with wet wipes.We had free time for an hour.Then we were in the everlasting eighteen,and then we started to practice for some games in the INME olympics,which was a competition for everlasting eighteen and 3 other groups.INME is the name of the camp.After practicing,we had snacks.Then we again practiced.We then had soup,and finally dinner.Then we had a bonfire too.We went trekking the next day.In that sir told us about different trees and we went to a village and asked them about their life.We saw a village daycare and a very old house built out of mud.We had an amazing time there too.Then we had the olympics.The first position would get 80 points,second 60,third 40,last 20.We selected which people would participate in the games.We also had a joker card ins which it would double our points.The first game was standing broad jump,in which you had to stand and jump as long as you could.Then we had a game called sling tring.In that you had to hold a rope around your belly,and pull.Whoever would move would be out.I participated in the next game called Gandhi Ji's 3 monkeys.In that one would be blindfolded and had to go around obstacles,one would see the obstacles and tell the third person by not speaking,and the third person would say it to the blindfolded one,though he can't see.We came 1st in that.Then we had bum wrestling,in which you had to knock the person out of the circle with using your bum,and putting your hands on your knees.Then we had longest line,in which you select 15 people from your team.You have to stretch and be connected to the next person.Whoever has the longest one wins.I was in that.Then was 2 minute maggi,in which you have to eat a bowl of maggi with our hands tied behind.Whoever eats it fastest wins.Then was eat biscuit,in which there was biscuit on our forehead,and we had to make it slide down into our mouth.And we were the winners!!!!We had 620 points.I was full of joy.We ate dinner and had a DJ night,which was great.We slept at 10.We had breakfast,tea,milk and biscuits.We filled a feedback form and left at 10 in the morning.It was the tiring journey again.We reached at 12 am.But it didn't seem that we had been there for 4 days and 3 nights.It seemed like 20 minutes.We were so engaged.Including the boring journey,I still had a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious time.

An awful day

When I woke up and looked at the time,I had a shock
NOt 7 or 8,but 5!Somebody had fiddled with my alarm clock
When I wake up,I usually can't sleep again
At 5,there's no TV or computer or anything to entertain
Then at 7,my cousin told me that our car is not working,and needs treatment
And I walked to the whole basement
It was actually okay
That was the first part of my ruined day
What a waste of a walk that had been
And nothing good I had seen
We haven't paid the television bill,said my dad
But then I went totally mad
My mom was there watching TV
And sitting normally while eating biscuits and tea
Then I was reading,and then fell,and saw my shoes were tied
I asked my friend,but I think he lied
Then many tricks were played on me,with a toffee,clothes and even a ball
But then I thought that was all
One more trick was played from a friend of my school
I saw a calendar,and…….It was april's fools!
I have explained to you about the worst day of my life,in my rhyme
But I'm sure there will be a revenge time…………..

Let internet become a boon,not a bane

You gotta be safe,and use your brain

Don't you dare disclose your password

Don't visit untruthful sites as free as a bird

Tell your parents if you're getting bullied online

They will handle it and you'll be back on the line

Don't visit bogus sites on the net

You might get into some trouble,I bet

Internet is good for finding things out

But they shouldn't unreliable sites you should be finding about

Never respond to a threatening message or email

You should tell an elder about this tale

There are some cunning plans,like telling you've won a lottery,which you should know

They ask your password,but it's too late when you realise where your money will go

You shouldn't give away your personal pictures which are real

Some might post them somewhere social

There is lot of responsibility you need to take

Now you know that internet safety is not a piece of cake

Russia will own Lata Mangeshkar's vocal cords and will conduct a research on it after she dies-I wouldn't be so thrilled to hear that some other country will own my body part,but that's an awful lot of praise.Just because she sings like a nightingale.Well,the sound is wonderful.

The longest word without a vowel is rhythms-You try finding a word without vowels.It's almost impossible.All I came up was with 3 silly 3-letter words such as fly or sky or try.It's not uncommon that it will take you ages to find one like this.Now I am sure of that.

The Bible is the most shoplifted book-I'm not sure if that book is so interesting,but it doesn't sound interesting either.The Guiness world book of records is the book that is stolen the most from public libraries.That book is surely awesome with the staggering records,but I guess if I read it,I may love it.But I surely won't shoplift,would I?

160 cars can drive side by side on the monumental axis in Brazil,the world's widest road-That would most probably prevent hundreds of jams.You could have a lot of fun driving around in such a wide place.If nobody was driving on it,it would make an awesome football ground.I would love to have fun there.I'm sure I could be punctual and prevent being late with this road.

Snails can sleep for 3 years without eating-If I were a snail,I would have a lot of nightmares as well as good dreams.The world would seem new to you when you open your eyes.We sleep every day,and there are 365 days in an year.And if I sleep for 3 years and count it as one day,I would sleep for 1095 years.The number is an awesome chance to explore all the cool inventions and generations that come through.The only reason I hate dying is because I would miss on the jaw-dropping technology.
