Heritage Transport Museum

On a sunny day,I visited this magnificent Heritage transport museum in Tauru,Manesar. It is a must-visit.It has a huge variety of vehicles with some stylish, extraordinary, customied ones which were great.Just outside the museum, was a stunning Cadillac limousine which was way more luxourious than any car I had ever seen. The reception was also the shape of a car.On the Ground floor, was a 1962 Cheverolet covered with Dome mirrors, and I have to admit,it is one of the best-looking cars I have ever seen.On the Ground floor,we saw a mini-railway with a bogie of the majestic train Jodhpur saloon. The chairs, tables, beds were great as it was obvious as a King owned this train. We saw the amazingly old palanquins, and sheets used tomcover Elephants. We also saw vintage and modern wheels. We also glanced at old trucks, buses which looked extremely different from the modern ones we usually travel in these days. Then we went down to the basement, and that was the best basement I ever saw. There were some old cars but they were awesome ones. There were some Pontiacs,Plymouths,Hudsons,Nash,Buicks,Cheverolets,Dodges and other amazing cars. The Cheverolet Impala and Belair were a beauty. The engines were great, with roaring V6s and thunderous V8s and V10s.There were also famous cars from movies. There was also a plane and some boats with some first-class bikes and cycles. If you ever end up in Gurgaon,be sure to visit this place.

My headquarters

The 2 things after a tiring day-me and my little abort
I like to think of it as a mini fort
My door says"no stupid people beyond this point"
I like to lie down and oil my joints
I like to be the only living thing there
If anyone else dare enters,I'll give them a good scare
Putting on my headphones and listening to Linkin Park
Turning of the lights and watching a scary movie in the dark
Hitting bulls eye playing with darts
Just enter the room, that's where the fun starts
Finishing a thriller
Reading about a serial killer
Playing with a football
Staring at the posters on the wall
Drawing an alien and a monster
Hearing news about boxers
Take a blanket and get curled
This place is better than anything in the world

PK review

PK is this newly-released movie starring Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma.Aamir Khan is an alien. He lands on Earth and suddenly a thief steals the remote control of the spaceship, and he has no way to get back to his home planet unless he gets that remote control. He doesn't know the language. He's like a baby, just came into Earth and asks lots of questions. He doesn't know the fashion, gender and other things which everyone knows. He doesn't even have a name,so people call him PK.Then he gets the hang of these things and also learns the language by holding hands with a person for 6 hours. Then he gets to know about god,and starts praying to him so he can help, him find his remote. Then he debates a godman revolving around the question has god made us or have we made god?He also meets a TV reporter called Jaggu, who helps him speak out his message to everyone in India using the news, and people start following him.He says that everything the godman says is wrong. He says we shouldn't follow those rules. But it is a very sidesplitting movie, which makes you laugh until you fall of your seats.I'll give this movie four stars. It wil surely earn truckloads of money at the box office, and be nominated for many awards. If you watch this movie after its show ends at the cinemas, you will surely regret it.Why didn't we watch this great movie in the movie hall with a bigger screen?Well, the director of this and 3 idiots,Rajkumar Hirani is amazing.A thumbs-up to this fantastic film!

Some cities I would like to live in

New York-NYC rocks. When you check out the brobdingnagian skyscrapers,Manhattan,Times Square, malls, stadiums etc at night, they look awesome. So many colours, especially fluroscent ones with great cars and the Empire State Building. This is a city you can never miss in your lifetime, and I would be honoured if I had citizenship in the city. Most of the crime shows I watch are filmed here with the NYPD and FBI,so I know how this phenomenal city looks like.

Tokyo-Just like New York, the Japanese capital is also bustling with tall buildings and towers.I would be impressed by the amount of technology there.Toyota,Sony,Panasonic,Sharp,Daikin,Suzuki,Honda are all from Japan. If you visit Tokyo, you shall come across thousands of video games and consoles.Gaming is such a big trend there I might bump into Pikachu or Charizard.Nintendo also has it's origins there so you should see DS' and Wiis there.

Dubai-I would love to be a part of this stunning city with its next door neighbour Abu Dhabi. It has the world's tallest building Burj Khalifa and a totally majestic hotel Burj Al Arab.Just looking at the police cars there makes me feel like being a carnival and having a ride in one of those stunning supercars. And the malls there are enormous with so many shops. The skyscrapers, malls and cars there are just awesome.

Frankfurt-The German city is great too.Visiting the airport there would leave you open-mourthed.You'll be wondering-what a gigantic airport. And if I bump into Thomas Muller or Bastian Schweinsteiger,I'll be more than happy to have a selfie taken with an autograph. It is also an amazing city which is worth living in.Boy, I like this city.

Sly Saffron

When this cunning baby came into existence
It was a moment of glory
It felt different to have a sister
But it was the beginning of a great story
She was so smal we thought she was fake
But she was real and destructive,so my toys were at stake
She stole the spotlight
And pushed us away from the limelight
She knows the difference between real and toy phones
She kicks and destroys everything, making homegrown cyclones
You've gotta admit she is cute
And also has a queen-like attitude
Scolds us if we say no
In fake crying and acting she's a pro
In standing up she never frowns
But she is completely against lying down
Wheels on the bus and old macdonald, she loves those rhymes
For her listening to kill dil and lovely are good times
She has stranger anxiety
About books, she likes to read a variety
I love to see her smile
But when she cries, her tears make another River Nile
She stares at the fan when in the dark
She surpasses all other babies at the park
Can you guess who is this one
Yup,it's Saffron

Bookaroo festival

I never miss a chance to visit the annual bookaroo festival. This time the fair was held at IGNCA  Ganpath. There were a lot many authors and storytellers coming to participate. There were many sessions with authors, with each of them telling us about their favourite things, adventures and books.I had an extremely fun session with Gabrielle Wang at school, who was also there at the festival. She told us about her books, and how she thought of them. This gave me a constant urge to write a book.I also ran into her at the festival.I attended a session with Lucy Hawking, the daughter of the legendary Stephen Hawking.I can say the session was nothing short of spectacular.Watching the presentation of the universe made me feel as if I was in another galaxy. She told us about the origin of the universe, the sombero galaxy and other stunning facts about space. The part I enjoyed the most was an animated video. It showed us what it would be like to play soccer on all the planets in the solar system to explain to us the conditions and weather of each planet, which I liked. She told us about her father, her hometown and more. She told us about wormholes, black holes, galaxies, stars and other properties of space. The presentation was excellent. After that,at the book signing where we could get Lucy Hawking's autograph, the line was enormous. After the session ended,I sprinted to the book signing table to make sure I get a good spot in the queue. The bookshop there was nice with a great variety of books.I also gobbled down a few snacks. But after all,it turned out to be good day.So hats off to Bookaroo!

Music I am hooked to

Imagine Dragons-No music lover can possibly survive without Radioactive and Demons. The touch of Indie Rock in their songs is awesome.

Green Day-The greatest punk band ever formed. The trio makes such amazing rock music with amazing solos, awesome lyrics and vocals, with the drums perfectly taking their place.

Maroon 5-One of the most well known bands, with uncountable hits, and fans all over the globe. Maps, Payphone , Moves like jagger are some amazing songs.

Linkin Park-What a band! The DJ makes this mind-blowing band unique. The members of this group are hugely talented. The vocals with the rap is great, and you can’t miss one album of theirs.

Onerepublic-Counting stars has made this band on it’s road to glory. The other songs of the miraculous band are also worth to hear.

U2-An old band but a classic competitor. My,the new album released this year is nice.Such Great songs. And better, songs of innocence was free.

Bryan Adams-Summer of 69 with such thunderous guitarring is a chart topper. When you listen to his other songs, you know the artist is just astounding.

Europe-Though this one isn't a continent, but it still can mesmerize a whole continent.Every classic rock CD you come across,I can bet you at least one song will be sung by Europe.I just can't stop listening to rock the night, the final countdown.

Top Gear

Top Gear is a top-class TV show on cars. In the show, they talk and review cars. Though it’s a car show which is a notch above all the others, it’s also

A hilarious one. There are three producers-Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, James May. Hammond is my favorite. The sense of humor the trio have is one that sends me in splits. All of them are always teasing each other, which I totally approve because it’s funny. They review mind-blowing, stylish, lightning fast cars and then have some fun with them such as races, a four wheeled version of tag, or take them to a beautiful place where there is a sensitive environment, and it’s empty. They always call a celebrity and then make them take a lap around the Top Gear track in their reasonably-priced car, and then put their lap time on a board, which contains all the lap times of all the celebrities that have come. At the end of each season, they have a Top Gear special in which the producers give them a dare or challenge to do something such as-Find the real source of the River Nile, build a bridge etc. The chucklesome things they do and say are something special. Boy, I wish I had a sense of humor they have. It is one of the best shows I have ever watched. They discuss mistakes, accidents and other unusual but funny things with hilarious lines which makes the audience giggle. I am addicted to this show .I love it! I just hope this show never ends!

Digital Divide

Digital Divide is a term meaning the gap between internet users and non-internet users. We are trying to bridge the gap of the Digital Divide, especially in India. The unpriveldged aren't familiar at all with typing, looking at the screen and going to the internet. Most of the village citizens haven't even heard of these things. It is obvious people who frantically search for their meal have no access to Google. As these laptops become more hi-tech and stylish, some people don't even know what a basic computer is.If we narrow it,it would improve literacy, democracy, economic equality and economic growth. The Digital Divide typically exists between those in cities and those in rural areas, between the educated and the uneducated etc.It would be great if we could lend a hand,by educating those who don't have the opportunities or skills. Some kids from our school have already gone to the village schools, and have taught them the basics in the newly installed computers.Looking at this portion of the country using the keyboard and mouse makes me feel truly amazing.Poverty is large in this nations, but we should try to accomplish making everyone know how to use a computer.Who knows computer whizzes and geniuses may blossom from rural areas.Well, then let's try to shape these minds!

El Classico

El Classico is a nickname for the battle of the giants-Real Madrid and Barcelona.I am a big fan of Real Madrid. This time Madrid beat their rival Barca 3-1.I jumped up and down, full of happiness because of this result.Ronaldo and their team ruined Suarez's debut after four months because of biting Chiellini in the four-goal thriller. It was Suarez's pass who put Neymar on goal, and made Barcelona take the lead in just four minutes.Real nearly leveled on ten minutes when Ronaldo crossed from the left, and Benzema headed on to the bar. After the rebound he smashed another shot goalwards that grazed the bar with Bravo beaten.Bravo then saved from Kroos' long shot as Real kept the pressure up.After 15 minutes,Suarez was the only forward not to be bookes as both Messi and Neymar had recieved Yellow cards. From the spot-kick Cristiano Ronaldo scored to end Bravo’s run of 776 minutes in La Liga without conceding and set up the second half perfectly. The match was entertaining.Pepe then made Real take the lead after scoring a header in the 50th minute. Then Benzema also scored. The match was worthy watching after great shots and saves.Casillas also was good. The vikings let down Barcelona. It was an awesome match.

Spooktactular Halloween

Today we celebrated Halloween, the ancient Samhain holiday. We kicked off this spine-chilling holiday with a PowerPoint Presentation on how Halloween is celebrated, and the history of this frightful festival.A few students also played Hedwig's theme on the guitar(the Harry Potter theme ).Then we had a parade, with the whole school. It was interesting to see ghouls, goblins, skeletons, zombies, vampires, witches and other unique dreadful characters. Some students got goosebumps looking at the terrifying creatures lurking there,as some overcame their fears.as pumpkins, witches and bats hung in the atrium,it was obvious that people would get a shock looking at those decorations with other hair-raising characters around you.Teachers also dressed up.After all,who doesn't like Halloween. There's nothing like dressing up,scaring others to make them get the fright of their lives.Boy,the school was in a different shape, quite the opposite of a mirror reflection of normal days. And this wasn't it.The Student Council had organized a haunted house to bring up the mood of Halloween even more.Spooky creatures popping out and scaring you, with blood all over the ground, and also pretending to dead and removing organs.I'll say only fearless persons would have dared to walk in there .Then I came home. There it was scary too.Trick or Treating was a good time. When someone wouldn't give us those scrumptious sweets,we would hang a sign on their door saying'Death is only the beginning'.We also scared kids, which made them go crying to their Mamas. It was a classic Halloween, with the chill of the festival in the air.We also got stuck in a lift.Boy,
I won't say you could pass through our colony in a breeze. You would be getting scared by ghouls popping out from nowhere,or get rampaged on by skeletons demanding candy. This was one of the best days in this year, but a spooktactular one.May luck be yours on Halloween!

Electric guitar

The electric guitar,in my opinion is the best instrument ever
If it wasn't there,I wouldn't put on my headphones-never
It's tough to master
Without it,bands would be a complete disaster
It has a vast range of sounds and tones
One reason, why there are thousands of songs on smartphones
It might be the foundation of amazing sound
Once you see it in a concert,it's hard to turn around
The combination of it,drums and the vocals is mind-blowing
A huge chunk of why the music industry is growing
It feels amazing, playing the beautiful strings
While one bangs on the snare, and one sings
Connect it to an amplifier
If I get the hang of it,I would never retire
No electric guitar, the band's in a black hole
It's a need for some classic rock and roll
This magical instrument is usually the star in many songs
If it's there, the music will have no wrongs
Crank it up to insane mode
Play it on the side of a road
The next day,the street would be crowded
Without it,most bands would sound like they're clouded
Just remember a thing
The instrument takes a band from zero to hero

Nobel peace prize

This time the Nobel peace prize was won by two people. One of them was Malala, and the other Kailash  Satyarthi. Both of them come from the same reigon.Pakistan is very near to us,and Malala is from there.Malala is a teen who fights for the girl child, and was almost killed two years ago.Kailash Satyarthi is the head of a NGO,called Bachpan Bachao Andolan. This NGO is totally against child labour.Malala is very young, but I still think she deserves the honour. As for Bachpan Bachao Andolan,it's a NGO started in the 1980s,and has now saved over 80000 children from servitude. The stated vision of Bachpan Bachao Andolan (BBA) is to create a child friendly society, where all children are free from exploitation and receive free and quality education.I think both the winners are doing a great job,and are contenders in making Earth a better place. The Nobel Peace Prize isn't just a normal award. It goes to people who really have done a great job,and are very capable of being role models for the globe.Boy,wouldn't it feel awesome to get these results. But I don't even like to hear these two words in the same sentence.Child and Labour. It would be an awful life,if you ended up burning your hands while making crackers for Diwali, and see the bosses(adults) sit like a couch potato.Sends down shivers down my skins, thinking about me being in place of the unpriveleged kids.So hats off to Kailash Satyarthi for support and creating awareness about this cause!

Partitioning Places

In today's world lots of places are trying to be divided from some place.I'm gonna tell you about two of them which are Scotland, and Catalonia. Let's start off with the most recent one,Scotland.Scotland's target was to no longer stay in UK.It was a close call, but they failed to get out of the United Kingdom.People who wanted Scotland to be independent were 45%.If 6% more people from Scotland would have taken this side, the Kilt and Bagpipes would no longer be seen so commonly.Though I felt only three countries would be there in UK-Wales,Ireland and England though it turned out my point of view was wrong. The Scots are back to square one.It truly was a nail biting election, with such a close call. Now over to Catalonia.Catalonia is a region in Spain which consists of Barcelona, one of the most popular cities in Spain.Catalonia wants to be independent from Spain. Now if you ask me why, they have a different culture, different language and independent nature.Catalonia has never felt to be a part of Spain. The fact that every region of Spain has a different culture, and a couple of others have different languages, seems irrelevant, as does the fact that the region has been part of Spain since before it was Spain! But there is a good thing too.Barcelona would no longer be a part of the La liga(Spanish League),and my favourite team Real Madrid would no longer struggle in the match vs Barca. They'll be as cool as a cucumber because they wouldn't have to be so tired in training. And that also may mean a free ticket to the top of the table, and holding the cup.Well, let's see.On November 9 they'll discuss this issue, which is only a month away.Let's hope for the verdict to be Catalonia another addition in Europe!

Mirages

Mirages are one of the puzzling mysteries on Earth.Have you ever seen one? They're not common in Gurgaon, but you'll be unable to count them in Dubai.Traveling normally, and suddenly you can see water in front of you.By the time you reach it,it vanishes.Sometimes it makes me thirsty, when there's no water in the car.But it's all the sun's fault. To be more specific, the reflection of the sun.Your reflection in the mirror when you're wearing the latest clothes might seem good, but not when there's not a bottle in the car,it makes my kinda thirsty. In hot places, you'll find about ten of them in two minutes. And it's not only water, other objects too.Seems like the Bermuda Triangle's younger brothers are Mirages. In a way, they might be related.I had forgotten about them until I went to UAE this summer. If ther were so many on the roads there, imagine how mamy would you find in a minute in the scorching Sahara Desert.Mirages do not help us in conserving energy.Think you haven't drunk water for ages, and you're tired of finding an oasis in the desert. Then suddenly you light up like a Christmas tree, and start running at your fastest pace. You reach close, and then there's only some sand and a cactus. It may get on your nerves, but you gotta get used to it in sweltering places.Mirages do sometimes make me look up to the sky,in which I check for a UFO which is controlling the mirages and playing a little game with us,but most of the time I fail to succeed in finding the source of these strange appearances.Well,I'm gonna investigate further and deeper into this interesting subject!

Life-changing 40 days

Since we are the seniormost class in the whole Primary, that means some of us get elected in the student council.I got elected and I am the Head Boy.Now I can't do anything wrong.I have to become a role model for other students. This a huge milestone in my life. These days I have to miss some periods for extra responsibilities. We also organise several events. Our badge is a thing we can never lose.It displays our pride and signifance of being Student Council. We have to check for bad behaviour in snacks. In lunch,we also check if everone's plate is clean. The day I got elected was one of the best days in my life. But this also means being good to each other, being honest and simulating a great student. In the fourth grade,I played outside for so much time. These days sometimes I come home tired because of extra work. The playing has now been reduced because of this.Though it may result in missing classes and doing extra homework,it also feels nice to be a member of the Student Council.Sometimes I don't have even time for taking a breath, especially with great changes in Grade 5.But you have to live with it.But it hasn't even been two months.Maybe in a month or so,our roles and responsibilities might double. And it wouldn't be a piece of cake.Or neither it is currently. This year is not gonna turn out for us to be hanging around, talking or goofing.I guess bigger jobs come with bigger responsibilities.Be prepared.
