IPL fever is on,and I have caught it and it's extremely communicable. On 12th,I was in another world,a cricket world. On Sunday, me and my friends went to an IPL game-Delhi Daredevils vs Rajasthan Royals.A live match always is awesome. The contagious trend seemed most realistic in the Delhi Daredevils stadium Ferozshah Kotlah. We reached somewhere around 3,as we saw the players practicing. We were sitting in the East stand,as we had a direct view of Steve Smith, the Australian batsman who devastated India in the World Cup semi-finals.I also saw other Rajasthani greats like the destructive James Faulkner, centurion Ajinkya Rahane, and New Zealand bowler Tim Southee.I was supporting Delhi in this match and also had Delhi painted on my face.Delhi were batting first,as the openers Mayank Agarwal and Shreyas Iyer played a good innings as they made 37 and 40 respectively. In the first 10 overs, they were 84-1.JP Duminy also hit a good 43*.As the second wicket fell, cancer hero Yuvraj Singh made 27, followed by Angelo Mathews who also made the same
score. They scored 100 in the last ten overs, and concluded with 184-3.I was enjoying my visit to the Ferozshah Kotlah, as the nail-biting match looked great in reality, not on TV.The royals' openers were Rahane and Samson.RAhane made close to a half-century,as he made 47.Rajasthan were playing well, and I believe the most impactful player was Deepak Hooda, who made 54.Angelo Mathews and Amit Mishra were also bowling good.In an atmosphere filled with cheering and suspense,we came to the end where RR needed 3 runs of the last ball.Angelo Mathews bowled and Tim Southee at the crease smashed a four and the close match ended.Once again,Delhi lost not by big margins as they lost by a run to Chennai and in this match, just a four on the last ball.I enjoyed my visit to the Ferozshah Kotlah, watching an extremely close match and I wish to come again. It has a great feeling when you're in the stadium, watching a live match!
